OBJECTIVE AND PHILOSOPHY
The Bachelor / Master in Public Health (B/MPH) Program at Naogaon University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in public health principles, practices, and policies. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with field-based applications to prepare graduates for leadership roles in community health, healthcare systems, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and international public health agencies. The program focuses on developing analytical thinking, communication, leadership, and research skills to address current and emerging public health challenges. The BPH Program is structured to achieve the following learning outcomes:
Domain Knowledge:
The program offers in-depth knowledge in key public health areas including epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, health policy and management, global health, and health promotion, providing a solid base for professional contribution to population health.
Research Understanding:
Students are trained in public health research methods, health data analysis, community assessments, and evidence-based practices to design, evaluate, and implement effective public health interventions.
Critical Thinking Ability:
The program cultivates the ability to analyze health trends, identify risk factors, evaluate health programs, and develop strategic solutions to complex public health issues at local, national, and global levels.
Leadership Skills:
